The day of love is slowly approaching, and every year, I can’t help but want to spend the day with those I love — all of my closest friends. This is why the popularization of Galentine’s Day was a dream come true! College life can get chaotic, so taking time to celebrate all of your relationships is essential this February. A sweet Valentine’s — or Galentine’s — Day get together can be celebrated in your house, at the park, even at the beach! Here are some lovely Cricut-made items for the most memorable Galentine’s Day.
1. Galentine’s Day cards
A greeting card never fails to brighten someone’s day, but a Galentine’s card may make someone’s month! Creating custom cards for all of my loved ones with my Cricut Maker 3 was beyond easy and allowed me to play with different materials. A simple letter of love for your friends can make all of the difference, so get out your pink and red cardstock and get crafty.
2. XOXO socks
Socks are the last thing you would expect to be given on Valentine’s Day, which is why these adorable socks are the perfect gift for your loved ones. Even better, wear them to your celebration for a stylish surprise that will spark all the conversation! The wonders of some extra fabric and Smart Iron-On Vinyl are endless, and these socks stole my heart.
3. Candy hearts garland
As always, a holiday isn’t complete without some festive decor. Garlands have been my go-tos for a quick and easy way to enhance the Valentine vibe. A literal display of affection, these candy hearts only require some colorful cardstock and a bit of string, and the room is immediately more romantic. Even if your gathering is outdoors, the candy hearts make a wonderful accent to any space!
4. Forget-Me-Not boxes
All of the “they love me” and “they love me nots” of Valentine’s Day can get tiring. This year, I used Cricut to make forget-me-not boxes to store all sorts of holiday goodies. These little paper boxes are also the perfect Galentine’s party favor for your besties! Once again, Cricut and pink cardstock come to the rescue.
